  • I have bought 5 Explorers from you and been very satisfied with the sales, finance. and service departments. Our salesman was superior.

Hats off to Doug, Jesse, and Capitol Ford for a job well done! They've earned my business.

  • My wife and I recently decided we wanted to reduce our monthly car payment while also purchasing a vehicle that will tow a small camper. We had a 2011 Kia Sorento (which we really liked but was not set up for towing) to trade and were looking for an Explorer or Escape. I had been looking at Craigslist and other online venues for a few weeks trying to find a good deal, but didn t really want the hassle of selling the Kia outright. I contacted Doug Creech at Capitol Ford about a couple Explorers, then saw an Escape (which Doug saw come in and immediately thought of me as well). Doug had me take the Escape for a couple hours to give it a good test drive. I then spoke to him regarding my trade, which after a little back and forth Doug gave me what I feel was a reasonable trade-in offer on the Kia. At no time did he pressure me at all, which was rather refreshing. We negotiated a deal, and Doug took care of a coupe things on the Escape for me. Two days later my wife and I returned to complete the deal. The transaction was painless and completed quickly with Jesse in finance (who was very personable and helpful) bringing it to fruition. Not only did my wife and I find a nice, low mileage vehicle we can use for towing,, we also lowered our monthly payment significantly.

  • When I was looking for a new car, I visited several dealerships, since no one place in Raleigh had all of the models on the lot that I wanted to test drive. Ted Cecil, the salesman I encountered at Capital, was the only one who had made the effort to get to know the new hybrid and "energi" models beyond the brochure copy. He helped answer all of my questions and did more on the test drive than jabber about sports or politics like salespeople at the other dealers had.

  • The main reason I kept coming back to Capitol Ford was how well I was treated by Jason Griffith and the rest of the staff there. This has been the least stressful and most enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had. This may sound silly, but I was never allowed to leave a dealership so easily before in my life. Working with Kevin Davis in Finance was a pleasure as well. You usually are "scared" going into the back room to "work the deal". But Kevin was friendly, professional and stayed focused on the dotted line. I researched the price they quoted me and it was inline with every other dealer. They did all they could to make this work for me. Bottom line was I loved the car (2013 Focus SE Hatchback), none of this would have mattered. I did visit 3 other Ford dealerships and kept coming back to Capitol. Thanks for remembering what good customer service is about.
